It is set to give to a separate stockpile. The only work order is to encrust finished goods and there are far more than enough figurines in the supply stockpile.

WebAs far as I'm aware, the only way to get an anvil if you didn't embark with one is to trade for it at a caravan. Depending on the availability of shallow metals this may or may not slow you down any. You're going to have to get one from the Dwarf Caravan in Autumn. That's actually what a lot of people do anyway.
