WebI've never done the Grafton Notch Loop, but have done plenty of other hikes (day hikes and multi-day). I've done several day hikes (3-10 miles) with my dog and a handful if multi-day hikes ranging from 8-12 miles per day for 3-6 days. He does well with these hikes, but hasn't done anything as rugged as parts of Grafton Notch Loop are.
