The only way round it I have found is to view them in the Sony Imaging Edge Viewer (free to download) then select the HIF files I want for C1 and save them as Tiff files (edit/export HEIF format files). WebI was able to convert them using sony viewer. right click image -> Output it to 16bit Tiff with adobeRGB. then import them to lightroom. Indeed, but it takes forever for a each shot. (on Mac) use XnView MP (free), then "Tools > Batch Convert" and convert all ARW files to TIFF format. Convert them into DNG.
